Account details: your name, email address, phone number and password (stored in a form we cannot read).
Booking details: the pickup office you choose or the address a rider collects from, the drop-off address, where each is on the map, the receiver's name and phone number, what the parcel is and its weight, the contact person for a shuttle booking, and clearing documents you upload.
Payment details: the amount, the reference and, for bank transfers, the receipt you attach. Card details are entered on Paystack's page; we never see or store them.
Delivery records: status updates, the rider's proof-of-delivery photo and the delivery code check.
To carry out your bookings, collect payment, keep you and the receiver informed, answer questions and complaints, prevent fraud and meet our legal duties. We do not sell your information.
The rider assigned to your delivery sees the addresses, contact names and phone numbers needed to collect and deliver the parcel. Riders never see the price or the delivery code.
To fix problems, an administrator can open a rider's or staff member's account and see what they see. Each such visit is recorded. Customer accounts cannot be opened this way.
Companies that work for us receive only what their service needs: Paystack for payments, BulkSMS Nigeria for text messages, our email provider for emails, and our hosting and database providers for running the app. When you search for a delivery address or move the pin on the map, the words you type and the position of the pin are sent to OpenStreetMap search services to find the address; your name and account are not sent with them. Government agencies receive clearing documents when we process an import for you, and information when the law requires it.
We send text messages and emails about your bookings, and push notifications if you switch them on. You can turn text messages, emails and push notifications off under Account, Notification settings. The receiver of a parcel gets text messages about that delivery, including the delivery code.
The app uses a cookie to keep you signed in. This one is necessary and cannot be switched off.
If you allow marketing cookies, we use tools from Meta, Google and TikTok to measure our adverts. They receive the pages you visit in the app and the value of paid bookings, but never your name, phone number, addresses or tracking numbers. You can change your choice at any time under Account, Notification settings.
We keep booking, payment and delivery records for as long as the law and our accounting duties require. Uploaded documents and photos are kept in private storage and are opened only by you and our staff.
So that the app works without a connection, your phone keeps a copy of the screens you have opened. These copies stay on your device and are removed when you sign out.
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act you can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected, or ask us to delete your account. Contact us through the details under Account, Help and support. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
